This test measures your follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) level

The Ovarian Reserve Test measures your FSH level on the third day of your menstrual cycle. Cycle day 3 is the preferred testing day because FSH levels are expected to be low. A higher than normal day 3 level may indicate diminished ovarian reserve. 

FSH

Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland. In women, it stimulates the growth of eggs in the ovaries. FSH levels increase with age as a result of diminished ovarian reserve.
